We’re excited to launch TOWNrelief. Our goal is to provide the digital connection between Watertown volunteers and community members who will need relief during the COVID-19 crisis.

Social distancing is going to keep people alive. We must work to flatten the curve and avoid overwhelming our healthcare system. While we are practicing social distancing, we can still provide relief to those who need it, such as community members who are high risk (immunocompromised or elderly) or hourly workers impacted by this crisis. If you do need relief during this time, this can be your resource to find it.

By focusing on volunteer tasks that require little to no physical socialization, we can help not only relieve hardship but bring the community together. We are in this together (always 6 feet apart). We’ll be piloting this site for the next week, so we are always open to feedback. Please, check it out.
